Expal s.r.o. provides business representation of the Austrian gunsmith Kurt Pritz. This reputable gunmaker produces rifles with engraved butts, engraved knives and other rifle accessories and needs, such as boresighter kits, hunting backpacks and muzzle brakes.

Kurt Pritz lives and works in the Austrian Tamsweg. After he apprenticed himself to a gunsmith, he started to work in Josef Winkler's workshop in Ferlach. Between 1981 – 1982 he worked in the USA and Great Britain. Little by little, he became fully independent and in 1987 established his own gunmaking workshop in Tamsweg.

Apart from common services provided by gunmakers, he focused on developing his own type of weapon, started producing knives and patented each new system. Nowadays Kurt Pritz holds 17 patents for weapon systems, knives, a hunting backpack and others.

In 2004 Kurt Pritz entered the Czech and Slovak market through Ing. Jan Škopík's Expal company. For the first time ever the whole Pritz-Systeme was introduced in Lysá nad Labem on the Natura Viva 2004 exhibition.

Every product of this Austrian gunsmith is an original. All manufacture is carried out manually, yet with a high precision. All weapons and knives are numbered and Kurt Pritz keeps accurate records of who bought the product and who owns it. Therefore, both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia now already are satisfied owners of hunting backpacks, muzzle brakes and other products from this gunmaker.
